With In Terra: sow the beautiful French flowers of Lorraine

IN TERRA is the company founded by Thomas ZIX, a gardening enthusiast from Lorraine, who came up with the idea of offering attractive boxes containing seeds of flowers that grow well in Lorraine and elsewhere, and that can be resown year after year for a natural garden.

Natural plants for the garden or balcony

These flowers have been selected from plants that thrive in Lorraine, so are somewhat used to cold, sometimes rainy winters and dry, hot summers. Easy to plant in the garden or in a window box, they are natural, untreated and can be resown from one year to the next. Some of these magnificent plants have been forgotten or overlooked. Thanks to Thomas, we're rediscovering them and enjoying them in the garden. They are presented in very pretty boxes, which can also be given as gifts, and are available for less than 10 euros.

Flowers that are good for nature.

These plants are also particularly appealing to bees , making them highly melliferous. They also appeal to butterflies and ladybirds, which take advantage of them to eat the aphids that can invade the garden. So it's also a way of improving biodiversity and protecting your garden naturally .

What are the plants?

In the selection of 19 Lorraine plants in the "Lorraine flowers" box, you'll find certified organic seeds that will give birth to great poppies, wild carrots and more. And plants with poetic names like "Compagnon Rouge", " Julienne des dames", "Knautie des champs" and " Mauve musquée". The boxes include a guide to planting and flower care .

The flowers of Art Nouveau, flowers to munch on...

Building on his success, Thomas is continuing to develop his idea. In the "flowers to crunch" box, we find flowers that can be eaten and, for example, added with pleasure to a salad to surprise, such as Alysse, Bourrache, Capucine, Souci or Violette. In the "Nancy School Flowers" box, Thomas, who lives in Nancy and loves the French capital of Art Nouveau, has placed seeds that inspired the great artists of the Ecole de Nancy, the local Art Nouveau movement, such as Ancolie CommuneDigitale pourpre,Oeillet des chartreux, Monnaie du Pape andGrande Berçe.
