The Basque Country is one of the most fascinating regions in France. Between the Atlantic Ocean and high mountains. A land proud of its culture, particularly its language, and the beauty of its villages with their typical architecture. Stopping off in Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz or Bayonne means enjoying a warm welcome while discovering flavors that cannot be found anywhere else. Here is everything you need to see, taste and experience in the Basque Country.
How was the Lascaux cave discovered? By playing children who discovered this major French archaeological site by following their dog. An amazing story that took place during the Second World War.

There's so much beauty in Bordeaux! When you set out to discover this magnificent city and its unique heritage, when you sit back and watch the sun play on the white stones or the Garonne River sparkle, you'll have no doubt that you're visiting one of France's largest and most beautiful cities. Here are the 7 wonders of Bordeaux. Discover them first, but it would be a shame to stop there.
This is one of France's most beautiful and historic regions: Périgord. Mainly in the Dordogne, it's a land of castles, nature and gastronomy. There are 4 Périgords: green (around Brantôme), purple (around Bergerac), white (around Périgord) and black (around Sarlat la Canéda). And it's the black Périgord that I'd like you to discover here.
